In order to maintain our growth and continue serving our customers with excellent service, our Recruiting Team searches for the best and the brightest in their field. We are seeking anInventory Control Specialist to fill our expanding Operations Team.

In this position you will analyze and coordinate the logistical functions to support day-to-day operations and asset allocation. You will be responsible for:

  • Accounting and tracking of internal and external surgical set inventory
  • Fulfilling equipment requests; assuring surgical sets are equipped with doctor preferences, completing loan agreements and documentation, coordinating delivery and tracking of loaned assets
  • Monitor loaned equipment utilization and location tracking in real time
  • Recapture demo and loaned equipment within the timeline agree upon the loan agreements
  • Reprocess surgical sets returned from the field and resolve any unaccounted for inventory in timely manor
  • Conduct routine cycle counts on in-house inventory
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of internal and external inventory audits
  • Coordinate the delivery and receipt of in-field equipment exchanges and upgrades
  • Assist in updating and maintaining operational procedures; analyze existing procedures for potential improvements and provide constructive feedback to management
  • Provide customer support regarding equipment offering and availability
  • Review case schedule routinely to ensure surgical procedures are fully equipped with necessary Altus equipment
  • Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and organization of the inventory and shipping areas. All FG Inventory and Instruments to be properly stored, labeled and tracked in GSS (ERP)
  • Maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer's key personnel involved in or directly relevant to a logistics activity
  • Stay informed of logistics technology advances, and apply appropriate technology in order to improve logistics processes
  • Develop an understanding of customers' needs, and take actions to ensure that such needs are met
  • Review logistics performance with customers against targets, benchmarks and service agreements
  • Must be available 24/7 for case support requirements


Bachelors degree in business administration or supply chain management with a focus in project management, or equivalent

Must possess excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and the development of alternative plans to ensure satisfactory deliver of supplies, material, and equipment in accordance with contract terms

Knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel, Access, and Project (or similar products) is required

Proficient in basic ERP/MRP functions

Knowledge of Inventory management best practices

Highly organized and capable of juggling many projects

Experience developing process flows and SOPs


Experience in medical devices, logistics, labeling and shipping a plus

The ability to cover cases and provide support to surgeons after training

Experience with Crystal reports or SQL queries
